Basic Technical Requirements and Characteristics of Box-Type Substations


Box-type substations are used for the transmission and transformation of electrical energy at an AC frequency of 50 Hz and a voltage level of 10/0.4 kV.

  Box-type substations are used for the transmission and transformation of electrical energy at an AC frequency of 50 Hz and a voltage level of 10/0.4 kV.

  The packaged substation shall include:

  1. All high-voltage switchgear inside the cabinet;

  2. All low-voltage switchgear within the enclosure;

  3. Power transformers (two SC-50 dry-type fully sealed transformers);

  4. Spare parts and components;
