Charging Pile Production and Operation
A charging pile is the charging device for electric vehicles. Each charging pile is equipped with a charging plug and can charge various models of electric vehicles according to different voltage levels. Electric vehicle charging piles require the use of a specially designed charging card; the pile’s display screen shows information such as the amount of charge, the cost, and the charging duration. Charging piles typically offer two charging modes: standard charging and fast charging. Users swipe their designated charging card on the pile’s human–machine interface to select the desired charging mode, set the charging duration, print out the corresponding cost details, and perform other operations. The pile’s display screen then shows the amount of charge, the cost, and the charging time.
